In the induced two active systems there will be rain and thunderstorm in 10 districts; in the heavy and brief rainfall Ravana's effigies got wet in Indore.
The biggest 111 feet Ravana effigy at the Dussehra ground of the city also got wet while the area became muddy.
According to the Meteorological Department, this is happening because the cyclonic circulation system is active in Sri Lanka and its nearby area. The second system is around Lakshadweep. Due to this, the weather has changed again in the districts of southern and eastern parts of MP.
Monsoon has departed from 34 districts of the state including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain.

This year, the state has received 44.1 inches of rain. Jabalpur division is at the forefront in terms of rainfall. Mandla district received the maximum rainfall as it received 60.6 inches, among other 56.8 inches of rainfall was witnessed in Seoni. More than 52 inches of rainfall was recorded in in Sheopur, Niwari and Rajgarh. The top-10 districts with the highest rainfall include Bhopal, Sagar, Alirajpur, Dindori and Chhindwara districts.
In this monsoon season, 200 out of 250 dams in the state have been full. There are many dams including Bargi, Banganga, Omkareshwar, Indira Sagar, Tawa, Kaliyasot, Kerwa, Bhadbhada, whose gates have been opened 6 to 10 times or more in the season.
