Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the capacity of Ujjain Sahkari Dugdha Sangh will be increased. The government is trying to ensure that dairy farmers get maximum benefits through Dugdha Sanghs.
At least Rs 50 thousand should be given to every farmer’s family as bonus. The production capacity of Ujjain Dugdha Sangh will be increased to 10 lakh tonnes. Besides, the role of the Dugdha Sangh will be made effective at the ground level.
Yadav was addressing the employees’ interaction programme of the Sahkari Dugdha Sangh in Ujjain on Sunday.
Chief Minister Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is setting new records of development in all areas. The government is determined to increase farmers income in agriculture-based Madhya Pradesh further. The agricultural growth rate of the state has to be increased further. Animal husbandry and dairy farmers play an important role in this. The government is trying to increase milk production further. Milk cooperatives will play a big role in this. Along with the increase in milk production, work will also be done to increase its consumption. The capacity of Dugdha Sanghs for milk consumption will be increased through the National Dairy Development Board.
Yadav said that along with strengthening the Sahkari Dugdha Sangh, whatever amount is required for farmers will be given. The role of Sahkari Dugdha Sangh will be made effective at the ground level. Chief Minister Yadav said that Ujjain Dugdha Sangh is my own family. At present, a target has been set to increase the capacity of Ujjain Dugdha Sangh from 2.5 lakh tonnes to 10 lakh tonnes.
Its profit also has to be increased to Rs 100 crore. Besides, employee interests will also be taken full care of. MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluhera, public representatives, officials associated with the Dugdha Sangh, and senior officers were present in the programme.
