Unidentified miscreants created a ruckus in Bhopal's Piplani area on Monday morning. The youths vandalized the vehicles parked outside the houses. Creating further panic the accused blocked the way of a car and threatened the family and the driver sitting in it.
The accused also vandalized a car. They also beat up youth who came to help. The entire incident has been captured in CCTV cameras. On the basis of the footage, the police have taken three miscreants into custody.
Anand Nagar outpost in-charge Santosh Singh said that Yogesh Kumar, a resident of Prem Nagar, was returning home from his in-laws' house in Hathai Kheda at around 1 am. His wife, sister-in-law, nephew and other family members were with him in the car. Seeing two youths lying on the middle of the road near the government school at some distance, Yogesh stopped the car.
Then two more miscreants came. Surrounding the car, all four started making excuses. One miscreant attacked with a sword and broke the front glass of the car. The family sitting in the car got badly frightened by this sudden attack.
Yogesh called his nephew for help.
The miscreants also beat him up. As soon as he got a chance, Yogesh took the car to Anand Nagar police station and asked for help from the police.
According to the police, earlier the four miscreants had created a lot of ruckus in Balvihar behind Ram Mandir.
Here they broke the glass of the car and bike parked outside the houses. CCTV footage of the miscreants breaking the glass has come to light. All these people had come to register an FIR at night itself. One of the miscreants who was caught by the police has been identified as Hrithik.
