CBI team has taken a big action before the assembly elections in Jharkhand. On Tuesday, CBI teams raided a total of 16 places in Jharkhand, West Bengal and Bihar in the illegal mining case of Rs 1250 crores. During the raid, CBI team recovered Rs 50 lakh and 1 kg gold and some silver ornaments.
The 16 places were raided by CBI teams. These include 11 places in Sahibganj, three in Ranchi, one in Kolkata and one in Patna.
CBI conducted raids at places related to Prem Prakash, Ranchi, CA Jaipuriar, Ranchi, Mehtab Alam, Rajmahal, Ranjan Verma, Sahebganj, Sanjay Jaiswal, Sahebganj, Subroto Pal, Sahebganj, Tinkle Bhagat, Sahebganj, Awadh Kishore Singh, Sahebganj, Bhagwan Bhagat, Sahebganj and Krishna Shah, Sahebganj.
CBI was investigating the illegal mining case at Nimbu Pahad. The head of the place Vijay Hansda was a witness in this case. But later he turned hostile. Investigation was being conducted against various persons who were made accused in the Rs thousand crore illegal mining scam case. In this case, after ED, CBI has registered a case against many people including big main accused Pankaj Mishra, Vishnu Kumar Yadav, Pavitar Kumar Yadav, Rajesh Yadav, Sanjay Kumar Yadav, Bacchu Yadav, Sanjay Yadav, Suvesh Mandal in its FIR.
CBI had taken over the court complaint filed by Vijay Hansda in Mufassil police station of Sahibganj and the case registered in ST-SC police station. Famous CBI DSP Krishna Kumar Singh was made the IO of the case. Also, a case has been registered in the case of illegal mining in Sahibganj under the relevant sections of Jharkhand Mines and Minerals Act, Arms Act and ST-SC Act.
