INDIA block promises 10 lakh jobs, 1932 Khatian based policy in manifesto

The INDI Alliance released its manifesto for Jharkhand on Tuesday. The grand alliance has named its manifesto as Nyay Patra. Through this, the grand alliance has promised 7 guarantees to the public.

During this, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, CM Hemant Soren, Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, State Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, RJD's Jaiprakash Narayan Yadav, CPI ML's Shubhendu Sen etc. were present.

Among the 7 guarantees given by the grand alliance, the guarantee is of 1932 based Khatian, under which, along with bringing the locality policy based on the 1932 Khatian, implementing the Sarna Dharma Code, as well as committed to the preservation of regional language and culture, guarantee of Mainiya Samman, under this, an honor amount of Rs 2,500 will be given under the Mainiya Samman Yojana from December 2024.

Other guarantees include guarantee of social justice, under which it is committed to protect the interests of STs, 28%, SCs, 27%, and minorities. Along with this, it is committed to form a backward class welfare ministry. Guarantee of food security, under which 7 kg ration will be distributed per person. Along with this, every poor family of the state will be given a gas cylinder for Rs 450. Guarantee of employment and health security, under which 10 lakh youths and girls of Jharkhand will be provided jobs and employment. Along with this, family health insurance up to Rs 15 lakh will be given.

Main guarantee of education, under which degree colleges will be established in all the blocks of the state and engineering, medical colleges and universities will be established in the district headquarters. Along with this, by bringing industrial incentive policy to provide employment opportunities, industrial parks of 500-500 acres will be built in all the district headquarters of the state and guarantee farmer welfare. Under this, along with increasing the MSP of paddy from Rs 2400 to Rs 3200, the support price of lac, tassar, karanja, tamarind, mahua, chironji, sal seed etc. will be increased by up to 50 percent.
