Thursday, 07 November 2024 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

BJP state president and MP Vishnudutt Sharma and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan campaigned in Vijapur assembly constituency of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.

They addressed a public meeting, public dialogue and party workers’ meeting.

BJP state president Vishnudutt Sharma said that the BJP government is working to bring happiness in the lives of every society and every class. Narendra Modi ji is the first Prime Minister of the country, who came to Palpur-Kuno and started the Cheetah project. Today, tourists from all over the world are coming here and people are getting employment. Sheopur has got global recognition due to this project.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that today the name of Modi and India is echoing everywhere in the world. The development of Sheopur has been done only by the BJP government. During this, party candidate in Vijaypur assembly by-election, Ramniwas Rawat also addressed.

BJP state president said that who did the development that is visible today in Sheopur district and Vijaypur assembly constituency. Every brick of development here has been laid by the BJP government and the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The network of roads that can be seen in every village here is the result of former Prime Minister Late Atal ji's plan to connect every village with roads. Today, the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expanding the highways. State President Sharma asked who established irrigation projects that provide water to every field and make farmers economically strong? Who did the work of settling cheetahs in Palpur-Kuno of Sheopur district and establishing it on the world tourism map?

The answer is only one, the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state government led by Dr. Mohan Yadav. He said that it is only the BJP government that is making the Ladli Bahana economically strong by giving them Rs 1250 every month and is working to bring happiness in the lives of every society, every section. Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister of the country who came to Palpur-Kuno and started the Cheetah project. Today tourists from all over the world are coming here and people are getting employment.

BJP State President Vishnudutt Sharma said that you must have seen that before 2003, there was a government of Mr. Bantadhar in the state, which had ruined the entire state. People used to yearn for roads, electricity, water.

Later, the Kamal Nath government that came for 15 months also stopped development and drowned the state in corruption. Disillusioned with this, BJP candidate and Forest Minister of the state government Ramniwas Rawat joined hands with BJP for the development of this area. He said that today Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in the state and Ramniwas Rawat in Sheopur are taking forward the development works.

This election is to put a stamp on this development. All of you press the lotus button with full force on the coming 13th and make the lotus of development bloom. Make Ramniwas Rao win with such a majority that no one can ignore his words for development.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that you have been making Ramniwas Rawat win from here every time, you had made him win last time too. We were telling him for a long time that if a good man joins a good party, it will be good for the region and the people.

Finally, when he realized that the Congress party cannot do anything for the development of this region, he left the Congress and joined the BJP, because the development of this region and the welfare of the people here is dear to him. He was a little late in joining the BJP, but better late than never. You make him win with a huge majority and now we all together will leave no stone unturned in the development of Sheopur district and Vijaypur.
