The state health department has rescheduled timing for the first sitting and second sitting of the out patient department popularly known as OPD in the MMCH Daltonganj.
An office order of the medical superintendent of the MMCH Daltonganj to this effect,based on the letter of the director medical education, on pursuance of the medical superintendent of the MMCH Daltonganj Dr Dharmendra Kumar the first sitting of the OPD has been extended by one hour.
There is a one hour reduction in the second sitting of the OPD.
The new schedule for the OPD will come into effect on / from October 14 said Dr Dharmendra Kumar. This rescheduling is in the larger interest of the patients.
Now, first sitting OPD will be from 9am to 2pm.
Again the second sitting OPD will be from 3pm to 5pm.
Dr Dharmendra Kumar said "Great rush of patients is seen in the first sitting OPD. Patients come here from far off locations. An hour extension will help them most."
Dr Dharmendra Kumar further said "If patients pour in the first sitting OPD, their number trickles in the second sitting. Hence there is a reduction of one hour here."
Medical officer said "We believe our esteemed doctors and health personnel will be providing best of services available with the MMCH Daltonganj to the patients."
In other major stride the MMCH Daltonganj conducted a successful second total hip replacement surgery in a week or so informed Dr Dharmendra Kumar.
The second THR was conducted by a team of doctors and OT assistants under the stewardship of the head of the orthopedic department Dr Shashi Kant Suman who was ably assisted by Dr Hari Om, Dr Rajesh, anaesthetist Dr Deepak.
The 70 year old patient Bhola Sharma of Harihurganj who had this THR is fine.
The first THR here was done by civil surgeon Dr Anil Kumar, Dr Perween Siddharth, Dr Hari Om and others on a poor woman.
