Punjab's Investment Promotion, Industries, and Commerce Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond on Friday set a decisive agenda for transforming the industrial landscape of the state. In a review meeting held at Udyog Bhawan with senior officials from the Department of Industries, Invest Punjab, and various related boards and corporations, Sond stressed the need for a more conducive, transparent, and hassle-free environment for industries.
 
Aligning with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's vision to position Punjab as a leader in the industrial sector, Sond urged the officials to collaborate with integrity and dedication. He highlighted the importance of ensuring that government schemes, policies, and programs effectively reach small and medium enterprises (SMEs), as many initiatives remain underutilized due to lack of awareness among industrialists.
 
To address this issue, the Minister proposed the development of a user-friendly online platform where industrialists can easily access information about various government schemes with just a click. He also called for improved accessibility to the Invest Punjab website, aiming to position Punjab prominently as a preferred investment destination for global industrialists.
 
Sond underlined the necessity for better coordination among corporations and departments related to the Department of Industries to enhance operational performance. He emphasized that minimizing administrative bottlenecks would foster a favorable industrial climate, ultimately bolstering the state's economy.
 
Expressing optimism, Sond noted the significant investments flowing into Punjab due to the government's initiatives and encouraged officials to work tirelessly to make Punjab the best industrial state in the country. With this proactive approach, the state aims to strengthen its industrial base and create a thriving economic environment for all.
