The Delhi police on Thursday arrested the mastermind behind the firing incident at a luxury car showroom in the national capital on September 27.
Police also arrested his accomplice after a brief encounter in outer Delhi.
The arrested individual, Deepak (26), hailing from Rohtak, is an international-level kick-boxing player with a dark side that led him into a life of crime.
The incident, which occurred on the evening of September 27, left both staff and customers terrified as three assailants barged into the showroom, demanding extortion money.
“A significant breakthrough has been achieved in this case with the arrest of Deepak, who was the mastermind behind the attack.
We are continuing our efforts to apprehend the remaining suspects and bring them to justice,” said Amit Goel, Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime Branch.
