Finance minister of Jharkhand Radha Krishan Kishore today asked the concerned officials to plug leakages in the commercial taxes. 

"There are leakages in the commercial taxes. I will not be any elaborative at this stage but I mean it. Leakages must be plugged," Kishore said. 

He then switched to the excise revenue saying there is a big scope of big excise revenue here in Jharkhand. He said the excise revenue can be around 4000 crore of rupees which is staggering at the lowest peg in Jharkhand. 

Kishore took a frontal dig at the state government of the period 2014 - 19 when 3500 crore to 4000.crore was spent on the infrastructural facilities without bothering for the fact sheet of the human resources. 

The finance minister said today we have government buildings after buildings sans any human resource. It's a criminal waste. 

Kishore had to put up a brave face in regard to money for the Maiya Samman Yojna saying Jharkhand has enormous mines where there is a systematic need to collect the maximum of revenue. 

The state government will have to take women into  confidence that their Maiya Samman Yojna will not be in any lurch. The state government will keep it going. 

The finance minister said he knows  the banks are not coming forward to give loans like education loans for that matter. 

He said there is an imbalance in credit deposit ratio where money of Jharkhand's depositors are being used by the banks in big metropolises. 

Kishore was given a warm welcome today by the district Congress unit led by its president Jaish Ranjan Pathak alias Bittu Pathak. 

Bittu Pathak gave a lot of Congress  veterans to speak which was a clear move to strengthen the district unit. 

The welcome ceremony hosted in honour of Kishore saw a meticulous entry of Kishore's son Prashant Kishore in the public domain. Prashant gave a brief but meaningful speech. 

Purnima Pandey, the lone woman voice heard today gave a real speech saying Rameshwar Oraon who comes from Palamu did nothing for his home district. There was a good applause for her frank comment. 

Kishore took time to explain his circumstances behind his joining the BJP saying his heart and mind live in the Congress. 

There was a return of Arun Singh  who was once known as the architect of the political castle of Kishore after a few decades of his lying in shadow.
