Tuesday, 13 February 2024 | PNS | DEHRADUN

The process of enrolment for recruitment under Agnipath scheme, Women Military Police, Havildar surveyor auto cartographer, Sepoy pharma, nursing assistant and nursing assistant (veterinary) of Indian army will start from Tuesday.

The candidates aspiring for the above mentioned positions are required to register on the Join Indian Army website through the link https://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in/BravoApplicantEligibility.htm.

The registration will end on March 22.

The Army Recruitment Office (ARO),  Lansdowne has intimated that several new measures to improve the recruitment process have been included from this year which includes a new adaptability test to ascertain suitability of candidates in adapting to the challenging environment in armed forces. This test will be the part of the recruitment rally and will be conducted before the medical tests.

Only the candidates clearing this adaptability test will be allowed to proceed with further selection process. The ARO informed that in addition, a new typing test for Agniveer (office assistant), previously known as Agniveer (clerks), will be held along with Combined Entrance Examination which is likely to commence from April 22.

The ARO will adhere to a new biometric verification process in the form of Iris scan to weed out fraudulent candidates. The office has further reiterated that youth should register only with their Aadhaar linked mobile numbers as Aadhaar verification will be done during the conduct of recruitment rally. A large number of candidates enroll through cyber cafes and subsequently forget the email used for registration.  The ARO office has said that the application process is extremely simple and candidates should not depend on cyber cafes for registration. The candidates are also advised to be vigilant against touts and newly sprouting coaching centres.  “The entire process is completely automated and it is impossible for any person to influence the selection. India Army is overwhelmed at the response from the youth till now to the Agnipath scheme and has called upon all youth to participate whole heartedly in the recruitment drive for this year,’’ the ARO, Lansdowne stated.
