With the objective of creating awareness about waste management among stakeholders, Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board organized a handholding-cum-interview program with the state's stakeholders in Palash Auditorium on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Board's Chairman, Shashikar Samanta.
In this programme, detailed information about three waste topics, first- e-waste management, second, plastic waste management and third, bio-medical waste management was given by the Board's Kumar Manibhushan, Environmental Engineer, Kumar Gaurav Jain, Environmental Engineer, Pratibha Priya, Scientist and Navneet Kumar, Junior Research Fellow JRF.
The programme was organized in several sessions. After each session, the questions of the stakeholders were answered by the experts of the Board. The suggestions from both sides were also considered to be implemented.
It was informed in the program that Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board has been organizing such events from time to time to create awareness about waste management.
The program was conducted and a vote of thanks was given by Ashutosh, Environmental Engineer.
The Board's Special Officer Kamal Kant Pathak, Ashok Kumar Yadav, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, Scientist, Amrita Mishra, Lal Bahadur Chaudhary, Accounts Clerk and Assistants, Roshni Singh, Amit Kumar Thakur and Rahul Kumar were present in this program.
