Hindi Pakhwada concludes at NML HQ
The Hindi Pakhwada at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters in Ranchi concluded on September 30, 2024. The fortnight-long celebration featured a variety of competitions, including handwriting, paragraph writing, slogans, and essays. The event culminated with the inauguration of the Hindi magazine “Johar” by Animesh Jain, Chief Executive Officer of NTPC Mining Limited and Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining) in the august presence of Naveen Jain, Chief General Manager (C&M), A.P. Shrivastava, GM (Infra), S. Pandey, GM (C&M), along with senior officials and employees. On this occasion, Jain praised the initiative to publish the Hindi magazine aimed at promoting Rajbhasha. The magazine, published by the Rajbhasha Section, encourages employees to contribute and support the use of Hindi. It highlighted the literary and artistic talents of employees and their family members.
SBPS students shine at CONNECTECH- UEM
The students of Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi yet again brought laurels to the school with their phenomenal performance at CONNECTECH- UEM Technical Bonanza 2024 held in Ranchi. In the event Pythagoras Star, Nischay Ratan of Std. X secured the first position with a cash prize of Rs 7000, Aman Raj of Std. X secured the second position with a cash prize of 4000 and Sriharsh Das of Std. X got the first Appreciation prize. In the event Pythagoras Pro, Janvi Sinha of Std. XI got the first position with a cash prize of Rs 7000 and Saksham Goyal of Std. XII secured the second position with a cash prize of Rs 4000. In the quiz competition, Curiosity, Vaishnava Singh Kashyap of Std. XI bagged the third position and received a cash prize of Rs 3000. Overall, the school was accorded the first runner up position.
4 employees of RRD retire
Four railway employees of Ranchi Railway Division retired on Monday. All of them were handed over all the payments related to retirement. ADPO Alok Kumar Rai welcomed everyone and conducted the meeting. On this occasion, ADRM Hemraj Meena said that all of you have made a long contribution to the Railways, this is highly commendable. UBOA Jharkhand meeting concluded
The second executive committee meeting of Union Bank Officer Association Jharkhand concluded. The program was presided over by General Secretary Jyotsneshwar Pandey, President Ujjwal Lakra and Chairman Devjit Dutt. To attend the program, members of the executive committee of the union from all over Jharkhand graced the program by coming to Ranchi and 200 members of all the branches in Ranchi attended the Navy program and informed the union members about the difficulties they face in performing their daily work. Jyotsneshwar Pandey carefully noted the problems of the union members and assured to strongly put forward these problems in the upcoming meeting with the management for its solution. The program ended with a vote of thanks by the Ranchi members.
