B K Tiwari assigned additional charge of DIC, RSP
BOKARO: The Ministry of Steel, Government of India, has issued an official order assigning the additional charge of Director In-Charge, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), to Birendra Kumar Tiwari. Currently serving as the Director In-Charge of Bokaro Steel Plant, SAIL, Tiwari will hold this additional responsibility for a period of three months, effective from January 1, 2025, to March 31, 2025. This arrangement will continue until a regular appointment to the position is made, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The order was issued with the approval of the competent authority and highlights Tiwari's trusted leadership within SAIL's operations.
Workshop on CSR at CMPDI
CMPDI organised a one-day workshop on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at its HQs, Ranchi on Monday for the CMPDI CSR Apex committee members and RI level Sub-Committee members to review and assess the impact of CSR activities done by CMPDI in the last decade. Mandatory provisions of CSR under section 135 of the Companies act, 2013 became effective from 01.04. 2014. Manoj Kumar, CMD, CMPDI; Shankar Nagachari, Director (Tech./CRD); Ajay Kumar, Director (Tech./P&D); Achyut Ghatak, Director (Tech./RD&T); R.K. Mahapatra, GM (HRD/CSR) and other Sr. Officals were present on this occasion. In this workshop, interactive sessions were conducted on “CSR Project Identification, implementation, best practices and emerging trends” and “CSR rules/audits/responsibilities”.
