Hindi Recitation Competition at ILCC

An ‘Inter School Hindi Recitation Competition’ for Classes 3-5 was held at The International Library and Cultural Center on Wednesday. The event was organised and conducted by the Cultural Secretary of ILCC Rekha Mishra. The Judges were Dr. Alka Choudhary, Vandana Modi and Niti Mehndiratta. Nivedita Sharma, Librarian of ILCC, was also present. Aradhya Mishra (ST. MARY'S (N) SCHOOL) won the first prize, while Vedanshi Mahant (BRIDGEFORD SCHOOL KARAMTOLI) and Asad Khan (SURENDRANATH CENTENARY SCHOOL) were given the second and third prize respectively. Aryan Sharma  (BRIDGEFORD SCHOOL TUPUDANA) was given the consolation prize.

Dristi NGO brings warmth to Auto-Rickshaw drivers

In a heartwarming initiative Dristi NGO extended a helping hand to the hardworking auto-rickshaw drivers of the city, distributing winter essentials at Khelgaon Chowk. The event aimed to acknowledge and express gratitude for their unwavering service to the community, especially during the chilly winter months. Under the leadership of Chapter Head Nihal Verma, the initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Jharkhand Pradesh CNG Auto Chalak Mahasangh. Together, they ensured the drivers received gloves, caps, and sweet packets as tokens of appreciation for their dedication. The event was brought to life through the tireless efforts of volunteers, including Arpita Kriti, Isha Raj, Aditya Sunar, Harsh Kumar, Nehal Zaid, Muskan Shukla, Anusha, and several others. Their collective enthusiasm and hard work ensured the event’s smooth execution, spreading warmth and smiles among the drivers. 

IETE Ranchi holds Executive Council meeting

The Executive Council meeting of IETE Ranchi was held at Jharkhand Technical University under the chairmanship of JUT Vice Chancellor and IETE State President Professor Dr DK Singh on December 11. The council unanimously agreed to hold an Expert Talk every month, a national conference in August and a 3– day international conference in January 2026 and also along with increasing the membership of IETE to form teams of 25 students in all the universities. Dr Ajay Kumar Srivastava, member of the tier governing body said that by joining IETE students and teachers will get opportunities to participate in high level national and international conferences. Dr DK Singh said that there is a need to spread the work of IETE in all colleges and universities so that students and teachers can benefit from it. Professor SB Dandin, Professor Piyush Ranjan, Dr P Paul and Dr Nishant Kumar were also present on the occasion.
