Hit by unidentified vehicle, mechanical engineer dies at Nishatpura

A 23-year-old youth died after he was hit by an unidentified vehicle in Nishatpura area of Bhopal in the wee hours on Saturday, he used to visit parents every Friday while working as he was a mechanical engineer in TCS company in Mumbai.

Anand Rajput came from Mumbai to meet his mother and father in Berasia on Friday. The same night he left home to meet his brother living in Karond and on Saturday morning at 3:30 am, people informed his family that he was found in an injured state.

With the help of an ambulance, he was admitted to a private hospital where he died during treatment at around 4 am on Sunday.

Anand Rajput was a resident of Langarpur Berasia. He had studied B.Tech from a private college in Bhopal. He got a job in a TCS company in Mumbai 6 months ago.

His father said that he often used to come to Bhopal on Friday night while his other son Arvind Rajput lives on rent in Karod and is doing B Pharma.  Anand   had left home on Friday night to meet Arvind. Later in the wee hours on Saturday we got information  that their son had met with an accident on Jail Road in front of the main gate of Comfort Loss Green Colony.

No one knows which vehicle hit him. We asked to take the son to the hospital immediately. We rushed to the hospital in Bhopal where he died during treatment.

Anand was the eldest son of the Rajput family, Arvind is younger to him and he has a sister. The sister is a school student. Father does farming in the village itself. He went to Mumbai to make a career. His dream was to settle in the big city.

After the death of the son, the mother is crying badly, she kept trying to lift him up.

Head constable Chatar Singh Ahirwar, who is investigating the case, said that they are checking the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the incident site. A case has been registered, some people have said that Anand had gone to Mumbai by bike, but the family members did not confirm this.
