History-sheeter criminal, his aide attacked fatally near Kilol Park

A history-sheeter criminal and his aide fatally attacked by two youths due to old enmity at Kilol Park , accused remained absconding while search has been intensified.

Akbar Khan  of Barkhedi is a fish trader, he told that he had gone to Kilol Park with his friend Azam on Sunday night to have tea. The criminal Munna alias Magistrate, his associates Faizal, Mansoor and two others reached there. The accused surrounded Akbar and started beating him when friend Azam tried to defend himself, Munna stabbed him in the head with a knife.

After this they also attacked head and shoulders with a knife. The people present at the spot came to rescue. Then the accused fled from the spot threatening to kill.

Police station in-charge Ghoomendra Singh said that an FIR has been registered and the search for the accused has been started. The sections will be increased on the basis of medical report.

Akbar-Azam and his associates had attacked Munna's elder brother Yasin with a knife in the head near Barkhedi Pump House last year. He was beaten brutally. To avenge this attack, the accused surrounded and committed the crime.

Notorious criminal Munna alias Magistrate who was recently served district externment was hiding in Bhopal only.

The scoundrel Munna Magistrate is the son of the city's biggest Cannabis smuggler Raees alias Radio. Raees was recently caught by the Crime Branch along with 90 kg of Cannabis. He was recently released after serving a ten-year sentence. Raees has been jailed several times in drug trafficking cases. Munna's elder brother Yasin alias Magistrate is also a history-sheeter scoundrel of the city.

Azam, who was injured in the attack, has received more than 50 stitches in his head. He is undergoing treatment in critical condition. He fell unconscious late on Sunday night. He did not regain consciousness till Monday afternoon. Whereas the police have registered an FIR in this case under the sections of causing injury with a sharp object and simple assault.
