Govt committed to cooperate with central agencies: CM

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the Madhya Pradesh government is committed to cooperating with all central agencies and state governments in every action against drug abuse. He has expressed gratitude for the tweet made by the Minister of State for Home Affairs of the Gujarat government.

Minister of State for Home Affairs of Gujarat Government, Harsh Sanghvi tweeted that during the joint operation conducted by Gujarat ATS and NCB Delhi in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Police provided commendable help. I heartily congratulate Madhya Pradesh Police for their invaluable contribution in the success of the operation. Madhya Pradesh Police is also continuously helping Gujarat ATS in the further investigation of this operation. The fight against narcotics can be won only with such coordinated efforts of various states and central agencies. He expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and his entire team.

Action taken against 55 accused under Operation Ankush

Bhopal Police Commissioner said that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Bhopal Police is continuously taking strict action against drugs. Operation Ankush was conducted under this campaign, in which strict action has been taken against 55 accused so far and drugs worth Rs 13 crore have been seized.
