Govt awards 3.6 Lakh scholarship to MGM Bokaro athletes

Athletes from MGM Higher Secondary School, Bokaro, have been awarded 3,60,000 in scholarships by the Jharkhand government under its 2022 sports policy. The scholarships were given in recognition of their performance at the SGFI National Championship in Chhattisgarh, where they won one silver and six bronze medals.

 

Recipients include Sakshi Srivastava (₹60,000), Zeba Naz, Priyanshu Raj Singh, Harshit Kumar, Vedant Bhardwaj, Tripti Jha, and Angel Rani (₹50,000 each).

 

Principal Father Dr. Joshi Varghese, Vice Principal Rekha Banerjee, Academic Director George Joseph, and Headmistress Sapna Joshi congratulated the athletes on their achievements and wished them a bright future ahead.

 

The athletes expressed gratitude to the government, while their coach, Rajeev Singh, shared optimism for their future performances.
