On the occasion of Sharad Purnima, All India Congress Committee general secretary incharge of Uttar Pradesh Avinash Pandey and Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee president Ajay Rai paid obeisance to Ram Lalla and also visited the Hanumangarhi temple in Ayodhya.
The two leaders said they prayed for happiness and prosperity for the people of the state and the entire country.
After the darshan, Avinash Pandey said: “We prayed to Lord Shri Ram to give us strength to fight in the interest of the country just like Rahul Gandhi is travelling and fighting to ensure justice for the common man.”
Pandey said Lord Ram fought his whole life for the truth. “We all should follow him and walk on the path of truth and fight against untruth and evil people like him,” he added.
Ajay Rai said they wish everyone follows the path shown by Lord Ram, the epitome of character, and follows the code of conduct.
“We are fortunate that we had the pleasure of Lord Ram’s darshan. We pray that there should be prosperity and happiness in the society and everyone should do their work while behaving in a dignified manner,” he added.
