In Jharkhand Congress Bhawan Ranchi, member of Chaunpur royal family and former General Secretary of BJP Vivek Bhawani Singh joined Congress in the presence of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, leader of legislative party Dr. Rameshwar Oraon and former state president Rajesh Thakur.
Kamlesh expressed his desire to work in the organization unconditionally and his joining will further strengthen the organization as he said that there is a long queue of leaders coming from BJP to Congress, all of them are upset with the autocratic attitude of BJP and are ready to gradually come to the mainstream of Congress. Impressed by the ideology of Congress party and Rahul Gandhi ji's Bharat Jodo Yatra, he joined the party today and we welcome him, he said.
Leader of the Legislative Party, Dr. Rameshwar Oraon said that his joining the party will strengthen both the Congress and the alliance. I personally know his family. I welcome those who are joining the party inspired by the policies, principles and ideology of the Congress party.
Vivek Bhawani Singh said that I have been in the BJP party for 20 years but I am very overwhelmed by the way they greeted me here and included me in the Congress family. "I have been in the BJP for 20 years. I did not suddenly decide to leave the party, especially after 2014. I am not the only one, there are many people who are troubled by the dictatorial attitude of the BJP party and are affected by it. Everyone will join the Congress party one by one," he said.
