An essay writing competition was organized today under 'Vigilance Awareness Week-2024' organized at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bhopal.
Essay writing competition was organised by Mr. Deepak Chaudhary (Program Coordinator). Hundred per cent of the officers/employees of the museum participated in this competition and displayed their creative skills by writing essays on the topic “Opposition to corruption and clean work environment”.
On this occasion, Prof. Amitabh Pandey said that lack of education is one of the main reasons for increasing corruption. Many people belonging to the uneducated class uses illegal and corrupt methods to earn their livelihood and the influential people take advantage of the poverty of these people and make them do corruption. Along with this, the public, prey to the feelings of selfishness, inequality, inferiority and jealousy, is forced to adopt corruption. To end corruption, each one of us must work with honesty and follow good conduct and consider it our responsibility.
