Congress holds extensive meeting to chalk out poll strategy

Tuesday, 01 October 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

‘Samvad- Vidhan Sabha Election 2024’ was organized under the aegis of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) under the chairmanship of JPCC Chief Keshav Mahato Kamlesh on Monday to chalk out strategy for upcoming State Assemblu elections.

JPCC In-Charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir was present as the Chief Guest in the program and former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel was present as the Special Guest.

Panchayat, Mandal, Block, District President, Delegates, State officials, MLAs, former MLAs, MPs, former MPs of all the districts were present in the program.

On the occasion, Mir said that due to the Samvad Aapke Saath program, the organization came face to face with the people of entire Jharkhand and the ground reality, it was the need of the hour, working at the grassroots level raises the issues of the society and work is done on it. “Sometimes, even after the election strategy and equations are in your favour, the election can be lost due to lack of work at the booth level, even one per cent votes can make and break the Government. To prove wrong the idiom that Congress has been defeating Congress. Whoever the party makes its candidate, ensure his victory. In the coming days, we will talk to the alliance parties about turning the major issues into guarantees,” he added.

Baghel said that in the last election, BJP made CAA and NRC an issue but today those issues have vanished. “In the last election, the people of Jharkhand gave a befitting reply to the issues of BJP and changed the power here. There is no such party in the Modi Government against whose leaders action has not been taken. BJP's thinking is that a corrupt person should stay in BJP and not in any other party. In Jammu and Kashmir, Amit Shah promises to give two cylinders free on Eid and in Jharkhand he opposes Muslims. They ask for votes for some other work and do another work. People like Bapu and Patel have emerged from Gujarat who tied the Country together. Today, four people have emerged from Gujarat, two who sell the Country and two who buy the country. The Country's assets are being sold to two people,” he added.

Congress Legislative Party Leader Dr Rameshwar Oraon said that you have the Government's achievements in your bag to go to the elections. “Despite the obstacles, we have achieved success. BJP people are coming from outside, the people of Jharkhand recognize everyone. There is nothing negative against the Government. BJP people are not able to create an issue here, due to which they are disappointed. BJP has not achieved any achievement in the State ruled by it and is not able to answer it. In the previous Government, the income of families in Jharkhand was zero, in this Government the income of the family is 5 to 6000 per month including all the schemes, we have succeeded in our aim, we will take it further, we will make the people of Jharkhand economically strong,” he added.

Campaign Committee Chairman Subodh Kant Sahay discussed in detail about the strategy and programs of the election campaign and the methods of the campaign. He said that the condition of BJP is bad, they are scattered all over Jharkhand like locusts, there is a BJP Government in the states around us, we will not let Jharkhand go out of our hands at any cost, we have to take it as a resolution.

Former JPCC Chief Rajesh Thakur, Pradeep Balmuchu, Sukhdev Bhagat, Kalicharan Munda, Dheeraj Sahu, Deepika Pandey Singh, Banna Gupta, Pradeep Yadav and others were present.
