A delegation led by PCC chief Deepak Baij will on Thursday meet Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka to draw his attention to the faltering law and order situation in the state.
The Congress, citing several incidents of crime including the Balodabazar arson and mob lynching in Arang, has alleged that the government had failed in controlling the soaring crime.
Women in the state were not secure and the state had witnessed a gang rape in Raigarh. There was also a case of molestation attempt at a Bhilai school testifies, a Congress spokesperson said.
The party wants the governor to take action against the government.
