Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that all pending infrastructure development and construction works should be completed as soon as possible in a planned manner. There should be no shortage in the quality of construction work.
The performance of officers will be evaluated only on the quality of work. Ensure that all types of work are completed within the stipulated time frame. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave instructions to this effect to the officials in a high level meeting regarding the development and construction works of Rewa and Shahdol divisions at Samatva Bhawan (Chief Minister’s residence) on Monday. He said that if the construction work is not up to standard or of quality, then the concerned officers will be held responsible for it.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Kumar Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary in-charge of Rewa division Shri J.N. Kansotiya, Additional Chief Secretary in-charge of Shahdol division, Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Shri Anupam Rajan, Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Shukla, Principal Secretary Smt. Deepali Rastogi, Principal Secretary Shri Vivek Porwal and other senior officers were present in the meeting. MPs and MLAs from both divisions also participated virtually in the meeting. In the meeting, special discussion was held on points and pending works related to the Water Resources Department/M.P. Pollution Control Board, Public Works Department, Energy Department, Forest Department, Higher Education Department, Urban Administration and Housing Development Department, Panchayat and Rural Development, Tribal Affairs Department, School Education and Culture Department.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that suggestions from public representatives should be taken in public-related works. Therefore, all departmental officers should communicate with local MPs, MLAs, and other local public representatives regarding the construction works of their respective departments, take suggestions from them, and also implement these suggestions. He said that the construction works which provide immediate relief and convenience to the public should be completed on priority.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the public representatives of the district do not get enough time to present their views in division-level meetings. Therefore, now the Additional Chief Secretary in charge of all the divisions should first conduct district-wisereviews, listen to the views and suggestions of all MLAs and local public representatives, and only then review the pending construction works in a coordinated manner in the divisional level meeting.
Yadav directed that the construction work of the Gode Irrigation Project of Sidhi district should be completed as soon as possible. The remaining work should also be completed expeditiously by removing obstacles in the upgradation work of Sidhi-Singrauli National Highway.
Additional Chief Secretary in charge of Rewa division said that under the Redensification Scheme, a new collectorate building will be constructed in the newly formed Maihar and Mauganj districts. Construction of 3C-type residential houses in Mauganj will also be done by PWD (Building Wing). The new collectorate buildings of both districts will be built at a cost of about Rs 43 crore each. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave instructions to build new collectorate buildings in both the new districts based on the standard model built in other districts of the state.
On the demand of public representatives, the Chief Minister has started the departments of Sanskrit, Sociology, Home Science, etc. at the undergraduate level in the Government Jagannath Singh Smriti College at Chitrangi in Singrauli district and approval was also given to run the Hindi Literature, Sociology, Geography, Sanskrit, Political Science and History Faculty the postgraduate level in the same college.
Chitrakoot will develop on the lines of Ayodhya
The development of Chitrakoot was discussed in detail in the review of the Urban Development and Housing Development Department. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the holy city Chitrakoot will now be developed on the lines of Ayodhya. Additional Chief Secretary in-charge said that for the overall development of Chitrakoot, Rs 60 crore has been allocated by Municipal Council Chitrakoot and a development proposal worth Rs 88 crore was sent to the government by the M.P. Housing Board. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that an entity development plan should be made for the all-round development of Chitrakoot. For this, suggestions should be taken from everyone and by incorporating everyone’s suggestions, real development of Chitrakoot should be done like Ramnagari Ayodhya.
Preparation for construction of Maa Sharda Lok in Maihar
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Maa Sharda Lok will be constructed here for the overall development of the world-famous Maa Sharda Temple of Maihar. Culture, Tourism, and Endowment Departments should make combined efforts so that Maa Sharda Lok can be constructed soon. Commissioner Rewa Shri B.S. Jamod told that the preliminary design for Maa Sharda Public Works has been prepared by the Executive Engineer, Tourism Department, Rewa. The process of approval is being taken at a higher level for its construction.
Additional Chief Secretary in charge will conduct a review in Shahdol on 7th January
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said during the review of the Shahdol division that action will be taken on all the suggestions of public representatives. Development work will be done as per requirement. The arrangements will be further improved. A bridge will also be built across the Sone River under Shahdol division. Necessary human resources will be supplied in the division. He told the public representatives that the Additional Chief Secretary in charge of Shahdol division, Shri Neeraj Mandloi will hold a meeting in Shahdol on January 7, 2025. All public representatives should give their suggestions.
