Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC) cum District Compassionate Committee Chairman Manjunath Bhajantri held a meeting on compassionate appointment in the Collectorate on Thursday. In this meeting, consensus was reached on giving compassionate jobs to the dependents of five people who died in general and extremist violence.
Bhajantri reviewed the District Compassionate Committee and sought reports from the concerned office heads in some cases.
In the meeting, consent was received for the appointment of the dependent of the deceased in the extremist incident and consent was given for the appointment of four dependents in the District Compassionate Committee General.
Project Director ITDA Ranchi Sanjay Kumar Bhagat, DSP City Ranchi, District Establishment Sub-Collector Ranchi Jyoti Vandana Kujur, Sergeant Major and all concerned officers were present in the meeting.

Sub-divisional Education Officer Ranchi, Tripti Kumari, President District Madrasa Association, President Ranchi District Intermediate Teachers Association, President Ranchi District Sanskrit Teachers Association and related officials were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, Bhajantri reviewed the centers set for the Annual Secondary and Intermediate Examination-2025 block wise and sub-division wise.
For the Annual Secondary Examination 2025, the total number of centers and students block wise are 102, total number of attached schools- 314, total number of students- 38139.
For the Annual Intermediate Examination-2025, the centers set block wise and sub-division wise (Ranchi Sub-division, Bundu Sub-division, Khalari, Silli), total number of centers- 57, total number of attached schools- 115, total number of students- 42121.
