The Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday flagged off the Aastha Special Train from Haridwar Railway Station to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. The train carried a total of 1,504 devotees to Ayodhya in its first journey. Dhami congratulated the public on the occasion and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for the commencement of the operation of the special train to Ayodhya. He said that several people struggled for years and sacrificed a lot in their lives to make the return of lord Ram possible in Ayodhya. “We are able to see this day today because these people made this years-old dream come true with their determination, faith and sacrifice. I salute all such people who made this day possible. Their consistent faith and sacrifice are the foundation of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya,” the CM said. He stated that this temple will become a modern symbol of Indian culture, a symbol of eternal faith and national spirit. “The Ram temple will also become a symbol of the collective determination of crores of people. It will continue to inspire faith, devotion and determination in the coming generations. We are determined to make Uttarakhand the best state of the country with the blessings of Lord Ram and the government is consistently working to achieve this goal, we are continuously moving forward with our mantra of determination. Dhami said that India has created a golden chapter on the banks of Saryu in the presence of Lord Bhaskar under the leadership of PM Modi. The wait of centuries is over and everyone is eager to have the darshan of Lord Ram in Ayodhya and this train will help the people to achieve that goal. “It is not possible to express in words the expressions I was seeing on the faces of lord Ram devotees when I was entering the station. All Ram devotees are going to Ayodhya to see the years-old dream come true,” he added.
