Chief Minister Hemant Soren today gave a total gift of Rs 73,454.146 lakh to Khunti and Simdega districts in the "Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar" programme. He inaugurated-laid the foundation stone of various development schemes and distributed assets worth about Rs 148 crore among 133,881 beneficiaries of both the districts. Which includes the inauguration-laying of foundation stone of 154 schemes worth Rs 31,360.918 lakh under Khunti district, while the inauguration-laying of foundation stone of 143 schemes worth Rs 42,093.228 lakh was completed under Simdega district.

On the occasion, Soren said that in the year 2021, we started the "Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar" program from Veer Bhoomi Ulihatu of Khunti. Today we all are in the fourth phase of this program. Due to the better efforts of the state government, no person died of hunger in the state during the Corona infection period. He said that he still remembers the day when the sisters of the village cooked food and provided free food to the people during the transition period. At that time, I had resolved that I will empower the women of the state at all costs. We will strengthen the women power of the state socially and economically.

The CM was addressing people in the "Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar" program organized at NTPC ground under Torpa block of Khunti district today.

He said that the government has started the "Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana" to make the women power of the state respectful as well as economically prosperous. Our government is giving women of all classes and communities their rights.

Soren said that today once again the state government has written a letter to the central government demanding the outstanding amount of Rs 1 lakh 36 thousand crore. If the central government does not pay this outstanding amount, then it should pay the interest on it so that the state government can pay 2 thousand rupees per month i.e. 24 thousand rupees annually to the women here as honorarium. Now honorarium and pension amount comes to every house. If the central government provides the outstanding amount to the state, then the development work will get more speed.

The CM said that our government is for the people. The salary that the officers and employees here get is for serving you. The state government has ensured that now government officials will go to the village and solve your problems. Till a few years ago, had you ever heard that any officer used to visit your village. Today the circumstances have changed. Today the problems are being solved by government officials by reaching your doorstep. This work is going to continue uninterrupted. Today every officer gives you respect by saying "Johar".

The CM said that after a lot of struggle, the Sarna Dharma Code Bill was passed by the Assembly and sent to the Central Government, but unfortunately, due to the indifference of the Central Government, the tribal community here has not yet been able to get the recognition of Sarna Dharma Code. The CM said that our government has approved the large-scale rice making industry within the state. Very soon we will speed up the system of paddy procurement and the factory that is being built, rice will be made from this factory and distributed among the poor of the state.

The CM said that our government is doing better work in the field of education along with providing food, clothing, shelter to the people here. Jharkhand is the only state in the country which sends its youth abroad for higher education. The Chief Minister told the women present that you are half the population. We have resolved to strengthen you people. The amount of the second installment of "Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana" has also reached your account. He said that all the old bank accounts which are not working should be identified and the Deputy Commissioners of the districts should get them restarted so that the honorarium can be sent to the bank accounts of mothers and sisters.
