CM flags off 236 Veterinary Mobile Ambulances for all districts of State

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said that the objective and goal of his government and the Agriculture Department has been to strengthen the farmers in the state. He said that in the last 4 years, the state government has implemented many important schemes and formulated policies for the farmers, which will prove to be a milestone in the times to come. His government is engaged in strengthening the roots of the villages of the state.

The CM said that many challenges have been faced since a few days after the formation of his government in the state. Fighting all the challenges, the line drawn by his government for the uplift of the poor, elderly, women, farmers, tribals, Dalits, exploited, backward all sections of the state in the last four years is a very strong, long and thick line, it is impossible to erase it.

Soren was addressing people at the inauguration of "Divisional Level Cooperative Mahasammelan, Ranchi-2024" and launch of 236 mobile veterinary hospital vehicles organized at The Carnival Banquet Hall, Dibdih on Tuesday.

The CM said that the policies made for the farmers in this country have not proved to be very effective. On a large scale, people of the farmer class are now being counted as agricultural labourers. He said that his government has laid special emphasis on alternative farming arrangements for the farmers in the state. The state government is trying to take the farmer brothers forward by connecting them with farming and agriculture as well as traditional systems.

The CM said that the State Government is continuously running schemes to strengthen the economic condition of the farmers by connecting them through various animal husbandry including fish farming, cow farming, poultry farming, milk production. He appealed to the farmers to definitely take advantage of various schemes related to animal husbandry. He said that along with traditional farming, there has also been a tradition of animal husbandry in Jharkhand. By following all these traditions, we all have reached here today.

Soren said that his government always stands with the farmer families here. The state government has also decided to waive agricultural loans of up to Rs 2 lakh of farmers. The state government is now providing better quality animals to farmer families for agricultural work. For the first time, the state government has made such a policy in which all the animals provided to the farmers are insured so that insurance amount can be made available to them in case of death of the animals. He said that a large number of people in the state are also associated with the business of fish farming. The state government is promoting various animal husbandry schemes here.

The CM said that the main capital of the villagers is farm-barn and livestock. You can say that the bank and ATM card of the farmers is farm-barn and livestock. Every need of rural farmer families is fulfilled by this. He said that his government is fulfilling the objective of providing market for forest produce. His government is also committed to ensure that the villagers get the right price for forest produce. If a proper platform is provided to farming, various animal husbandry and forest produce, then rural farmers can be saved from many problems to come.

The CM said that I believe that the place of the farmer class is very important in the country, society and family. He said that keeping all these things in mind, the state government is running many other schemes including Kisan Pathshala, Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, Didi Bari Yojana, Didi Bagiya Yojana so that rural families can become financially strong by joining these schemes.

On this occasion, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation Minister Deepika Pandey Singh, MP Sukhdev Bhagat, Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji, MLA Kalpana Soren, Chairman of Jharkhand Gau Seva Commission Rajiv Ranjan Prasad and other dignitaries were present.
