Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan inspected sanitation arrangements at various locations in the city on Monday before instructing officials to ensure that central verges and road dividers were spick and span at all times.
Narayan checked cleanliness in several areas, including Link Road No. 03, Mainit Chowk, Vaishali Nagar, Kotra Sultanabad, Nehru Nagar, Bhadbhada Chowk, and Suraj Nagar Chowk. He emphasized the need for improved cleanliness and attention to maintaining a clean environment.
The Municipal Commissioner directed health officials to identify the central verges needing repairs and to prepare a list for prompt action.
He also mandated the early morning removal of garbage heaps from Link Road No. 03 to enhance cleanliness.Narayan also asked health officials to hold regular discussions with sanitation workers and provide necessary input for further improvement in the cleanliness system of the state capital.
