On November 14, DAV Public School, Sector-4, celebrated Children’s Day with great zeal, honoring the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whose love for children inspired this day dedicated to them. With the theme “Children are a legacy and gift from God,” the school organized a series of engaging activities, aiming to make the day memorable for the students.
The celebration began with a tribute to Pandit Nehru, with teachers garlanding his statue and adorning the school hall with a festive ambiance. Principal Sarbendu Shekhar Kar expressed his affection for the students, emphasizing that children are the backbone of a nation’s future, embodying its hopes and potential.
