Chief Minister took cognizance of waterlogging on roads in Indore and gave necessary instructions to the officials concerned.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reached Indore on Saturday. As soon as he reached the airport, he asked the senior officers of the district administration about the condition of waterlogging after the heavy rain in Indore . Collector Ashish Singh informed him that after the sudden heavy rain, water drainage was obstructed at many places and traffic jam situation was created at major intersections. In this regard, immediate arrangements for drainage were made by the field staff of the Municipal Corporation.
adav said that to avoid such a situation in future, Municipal Corporation Indore and Indore Development Authority should ensure proper and permanent arrangements. During this, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, MP Shankar Lalwani, all the MLAs, Indore Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh, Indore Police Commissioner Rakesh Gupta, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Shivam Verma were also present.
