Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Vijay Goel, along with workers from 'Lok Abhiyan,' conducted a ‘public survey’ referendum at Rajiv Chowk Metro Station to determine the issues the public wants to highlight in the elections.  Goel claimed approximately 3,700 people participated and shared their opinions during the referendum.

Goel highlighted 12 major issues plaguing Delhi: sewer water, pollution, broken roads, heaps of garbage and waste, dilapidated hospitals, struggling schools, broken roads, lack of parking, poor law and order, corruption, polluted Yamuna, presence of Bangladeshi and Rohingya immigrants, and the status of full statehood for Delhi. Goel also posed a question, asking who the public holds responsible for these identified problems.

Bhagya Singh, an auto driver, described the parking problem in Delhi as suffocating, explaining that drivers face significant challenges in finding parking spaces, which often leads to serious crimes. Neetu Vashist, a mother of two children studying in Class VI and VII, expressed concern about the health problems children and adults are facing due to pollution and hoped that this issue would also be addressed. Meanwhile, Shankar Avasthi, an IT student, highlighted the persistent sewer problems and the resultant flooding, which cripples the daily life of people during the monsoon.
