A Bhopal based woman died in a road accident in Pichore. The woman had left home on Thursday evening on a bike with her husband. The bike was hit hard from behind by a truck in Banskhedi, Pichore.
The woman and her husband were admitted to a private hospital there for treatment. The family brought the injured husband and wife to Hamidia Hospital on Friday morning for treatment. Here the wife was declared dead.
Lakshmi Prajapati (19) was a resident of Shankar Nagar Chhola. She was married to Shubham Rathore, a resident of Pichore, three months ago. After marriage, she was staying in her maternal home for the past one month.
Her sister Rakhi told that after a month, brother-in-law came to Bhopal two days ago. After roaming around for two days, the sister and brother-in-law left home on a bike on Thursday evening.
A dumper hit the bike from behind in Banskhedi, near the sister's in-laws' house in Pichore. Lakshmi was seriously injured due to this.
After getting the information about the accident, the relatives left to bring her to Bhopal for treatment.
Early on Friday morning, the sister and brother-in-law were brought to Bhopal. Here the doctors checked and declared Laxmi dead. She had died on the way.
The deceased's husband Shubham works as a farmer in his village. After coming to his in-laws' house for the first time, he roamed around the tourist points of Bhopal for two days. He took his wife for a lot of shopping.
She died before reaching her in-laws' house. Pichor police are investigating the matter. The accused dumper driver is being searched.
Father said - had talked on the phone while having breakfast
Singh Prajapati, father of the deceased, said that after leaving the house, the daughter and son-in-law had tea and breakfast in Toomda village. Then the daughter called and informed that it was raining lightly and journey will be completed easily but all went wrong.
