In a commendable effort towards fostering economic empowerment in rural areas, Bank of Baroda organized a mass Self-Help Group (SHG) camp at Sahebganj. The bank disbursed a substantial financial assistance of Rs. 1.65 crore to over 500 SHG members during the event.
The special initiative underscores Bank of Baroda's commitment to supporting grassroots development by providing crucial financial resources. Distinguished officers delivered insightful speeches, emphasizing the significance of SHGs, financial inclusion, and various banking products and services.
Notable attendees included Block Development Officer Mr. Meghnad Oraon, representatives from DMFI and JSLPS - H.N. Mishra, Cluster Coordinator Ajay and Pramod, former Zilla Parishad Sunita Tudu, Head of Kaurikhutbari Anita Hembrom, MD of Mother Teresa School Bonifus Kisku, and Principal Reena Jaiswal. The event was graced by the presence of local dignitaries, guests, and the press.
