Ayushman Bharat Yojana is nothing short of a lifesaver for needy: CM

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has congratulated and wished all the citizens of the state on the completion of 6 years of successful implementation of the historic "Ayushman Bharat Yojana" started by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to build a prosperous nation with healthy citizens. CM Dr. Yadav said that over the past 6 years, the support provided to the poor citizens in recovering from major and serious illnesses and staying healthy has been nothing short of life-saver.

It is noteworthy that about 4 crore Ayushman cards have been issued in Madhya Pradesh. One crore 8 lakh families of the state are getting the benefit of the scheme. So far, treatment assistance has also been given in 45 lakh cases. Madhya Pradesh is leading in the implementation of the scheme. Chief Minister Yadav has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Modi on behalf of lakhs of families of Madhya Pradesh.

New dimensions added to the scheme

Chief Minister Yadav has said that Prime Minister Modi has provided the countrymen the benefits of this useful scheme on a large scale. This scheme, which has benefited crores of beneficiaries of the country, will now also benefit senior citizens above 70 years of age.

The scope of people benefiting through Ayushman Bharat - Jan Arogya Yojana is expanding. Now a new dimension is being added to this important scheme, for which the elderly people are also giving their blessings to the Prime Minister.

Chief Minister Yadav said that through the operation of this scheme, innumerable families have been saved from the huge expenditure on the treatment of diseases. Such benefited families will be grateful to Modi ji. The state government is determined that maximum number of citizens in Madhya Pradesh should get the benefit of the scheme when needed.
