Amity University Jharkhand held its Fourth Convocation on Tuesday. Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand, at the Convocation ceremony for the class of 2024, expressed pride in the students who received their degrees on the day.
He focused on five mantras for a successful life. “Always remember you are a part of such a big family Amity University. You are extremely lucky to be in a future leader country like India. You work extremely hard to succeed. Be always humble and take care of the society around you. Please always take care of your parents as they have sacrificed their health, happiness and their hundred percent to see you here.
They will be so proud to see you all graduated.”
Abhay Chauhan, Trustee, RBEF emphasized on the relevance of Convocation in a student’s life. He also encouraged the students to make their parents proud.
U. Ramachandran, Sr. Vice President of Amity Education group, expressed gratitude towards the Founder-President, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Dr. Amita Chauhan, Chairperson of Amity Group of Schools, Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand and Abhay Chauhan, Trustee, RBEF and the competent authorities for their contributions towards creating a legacy. He suggested the graduates for making a balance in life like four wheels of a car.
Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand, while congratulating the 420 graduates, highlighted the achievements of Amity University Jharkhand.
Amidst an air of celebration and accomplishment, students of the class of 2024, both graduates and postgraduates, were recognized for their outstanding achievements. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Gauravh Gupta, Vice President, Amity Education Group and Dr. Preeti Sahani, Assistant Vice President, Amity Education Group and the delighted guardians of the awardees.
Dr. Habil Khorakiwala, Chairman-Wockhardt Group, Mumbai, India cited that a quote of Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta and said, “Man is man by his belief. As he believes, so is he.”
Dr. Rajeev Chopra, Managing Director -Legal, Accenture emphasized on not underestimating the power of hard work. He said, “The world needs your energy. Be fierce less about your working if you want to be a changemaker.”
The attendees and affiliates of the university were replete with pride and elation as they bore witness to the academic accomplishments of the graduating students. A total of 420 students received their degrees, of which 25 were conferred with the esteemed Shri Baljit Shastri ji Awards for Human & Traditional Values. Furthermore, 11 Gold, 11 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals were awarded to meritorious students.
The ceremony also included the presentation of additional accolades and certificates, including 2 Best All-Round Student Trophy, and 1 prestigious Dr. Ashok K Chauhan 100% Scholarship.
Each award in the convocation symbolized the power of diligence, perseverance, and ambition of the students.
