In preparation for the upcoming Assembly Election 2024, a comprehensive training program was organized for the Flying Squad, Checknaka Team, and Video Viewing Team (VVT) as per the directives of District Election Officer Ananya Mittal. The session, aimed at equipping the teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure a smooth electoral process, was held at the district headquarters.
The training session featured key addresses from PD ITDA Deepankar Chaudhary and ADM Law and Order Aniket Sachan, who provided vital guidelines to the trainees. They emphasized the importance of conducting the elections in a clean, fair, and fear-free environment. Deputy Election Officer Mrs. Priyanka Singh was also in attendance to support the initiative.
During the training, the Flying Squad Team (FST) received detailed instructions on monitoring and controlling expenditures under the Election Expenditure Account Control. The team was also briefed on the Model Code of Conduct, ensuring that all electoral practices adhere to established regulations. Additionally, the use of the C Vigil App was highlighted as a critical tool for reporting and addressing electoral malpractices.
The Checknaka Team was trained to closely monitor cash transactions during the election period, with a focus on identifying and addressing large amounts of cash that could indicate illegal activities. They also received guidance on recognizing anti-social elements carrying illegal weapons, along with protocols for taking appropriate action during checkpoints.
Furthermore, the VVT was briefed on their responsibilities, with specific guidelines outlined for the successful execution of their election-related tasks. The training aimed to ensure that all teams are fully prepared to uphold the integrity of the electoral process and maintain law and order during the elections.
With these measures in place, the district administration is committed to facilitating a transparent and peaceful electoral experience for all citizens. The collaboration and dedication of the various teams involved will be crucial in achieving this goal as the Assembly Elections draw near.
