The Chemical Earthing Project for the entire BSL Township was inaugurated today by the Executive Director-in-Charge (Human Resources), Rajan Prasad. The event was attended by Chief General Manager (Town Services) Kundan Kumar, General Manager-in-Charge (Electrical, Town Services) Rajul Harkarni, General Manager (Electrical) A.N. Singh, Deputy General Manager D.K. Singh, Senior Manager Ashutosh Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Project Division) R.L. Meena, Senior Manager Abhishek Aditya, and other executives and employees.
The Bokaro Steel City houses over 250 electrical substations, where 2,000 chemical earthing systems will be installed. This is the first time BSL is introducing advanced chemical earthing technology.
Chemical earthing is a highly effective method for grounding electrical lines and equipment, enhancing conductivity and providing long-lasting protection for electrical systems. The system is low-maintenance, durable, corrosion-resistant, and environmentally friendly, making it an ideal solution for ensuring safety and stability in electrical operations.
This initiative is expected to significantly improve the reliability and safety of electrical infrastructure across the township.
