Khelo Jharkhand district level four-day sports competition organized in the playground of District Chief Minister Excellent School, Nadia Hindu and Catholic Middle School, Kaimo. All athletics competitions and hockey and football competitions of Under 14, Under 17 and Under 19 boys and girls categories respectively. Under 14 and 19 were organized from 09 to 12 September.
On the occasion, District Education Officer, Neelam Aileen Toppo said that Khelo Jharkhand is a medium to enhance the natural talent of children. The government and the education department are conscious of the physical and mental development of the students. Sports strengthen the mental and health of the students. Ambujya Kumar Pandey said that sports has an important place in life. Sports plays an important role in the mental and physical development of students.
Ashok Pandey, APO said that sports brings discipline in life and dedication towards one's goal. Vishwadeepak Jha said that both winning and losing in sports are a part of happiness. Along with studies, sports also have importance in the new education policy. Career can also be made through sports. On the occasion, all the first, second and third place participants were honored by the District Education Officer by giving them medals and shields. On this occasion, Jitendra Mittal, Nidhi Gupta, Arvind Kumar, Neelu Goyal, Ambika Sharan Pandey, teachers and participating students from various schools were present.
