‘JMM will repeat its triumph on all seats in Kolhan’

Tuesday, 12 November 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said in a press conference on Monday that the party will once again repeat its 2019 performance in Kolhan and the alliance will once again win all the seats.

Bhattacharya said that the campaign for the first phase of polling will now end in a few minutes while the campaign for the second phase will continue. Guruji has released the party's manifesto, due to some technical difficulties the hard copy could not come, so the soft copy has been released. We have focused on nine points in our manifesto, which includes women's rights, food security, state rights etc., but today the biggest issue is the arrival of Home Minister Amit Shah in Jharkhand, where he is addressing the assembly constituencies, he said.

The party General Secretary said that apart from the Home Ministry, Amit Shah also holds the Cooperation Ministry. The NIA has filed a chargesheet in the Tamar assembly constituency where he was addressing the NDA candidate. "We all know that Ramesh Singh Munda was killed by Maoists and the NIA itself investigated and later former Tamar MLA Gopal Krishna Patar alias Raja Peter was arrested and is currently out of jail. Supporting such a candidate raises questions on the BJP. The Home Minister was there in the match-fixing case. Raja Peter is accused of killing a minister," he said.

Bhattacharya said that our star campaigners were held hostage in the name of air clearance in the name of ATC clearance. "Yesterday there was a road show of the PM due to which the whole of Ranchi was under arrest from 10 am to 7 pm wondering what is happening here in this election. The entire Cabinet is standing in support of the culprits of their department. The PM has become desperate so there is no respect for the Constitution in his address," he said.

The party General Secretary further said that Amit Shah insulted Champai Soren. "I have always heard Guruji calling him Champai Babu and Hemant and Kalpana calling him Chacha Ji. Kolhan will take revenge and repeat the 2019 result. All anti-social elements are roaming around with the Home Minister," he said.

Bhattacharya said the Election Commission was silent on the BJP's antics. "The PM said if we stay united, we will be safe. After 11 years, he realised that if Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians stay together, they will be safe. The Adivasis and Moolvasis are committed to staying together. We will win 38 out of 43 seats in the first phase and if the BJP does not mend its attitude, it will not even reach double digits," he said.
