Two city-based publications have been conferred with an award by the Federation of Indian Publishers for excellence in publishing.
The awards were earned by Vinita Chaube's book Brij ki Rasoi and the well-known art and culture magazine 'Rang Samvad,' both published by AISECT Publications.The awards were presented during a ceremony presided over by K Srinivasa Rao, Director of the Sahitya Akademi, where Maheep Nigam, Senior Manager of AISECT Publications, accepted the award.
It is noteworthy that Vinay Upadhyay, a senior art critic, has been editing 'Rang Samvad' for the last fifteen years at the Tagore World Art and Culture Centre, RNTU. This popular magazine from AISECT Publications is distributed in over 35 countries, including India.
The Editor-in-Chief, Santosh Chaube, considers Rang Samvad vital in providing creative momentum to cultural journalism and creating an atmosphere of taste.Mr. Maheep Nigam mentioned that 'Rang Samvad' has been selected for an award by the jury for the third consecutive year in the category of best editing and publishing.
The magazine's assistant editor is Mudit Srivastava, and the technical coordinator is Amin Uddin Sheikh.Notably, AISECT Publications has been recognized for excellence in publishing for the fourth consecutive year.
The recent acclaim takes the total number of awards received by AISECT Publications to 11 in categories including General Book, Children’s Book, Magazine, Catalogue, Coffee Table Book, and several others. On this occasion, Chaube, Chairman of AISECT, congratulated and commended all the authors and the publishing team.
