The Atishi government has identified multiple immersion sites for the ‘durga idols immersions across the city, ensuring that the process is well-coordinated and seamless. Sub Divisional Magistrates have been tasked with inspecting the sites alongside relevant departments to guarantee a smooth and safe experience for all.
In a meeting chaired by the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of West Delhi, the Delhi government outlined comprehensive plans for Ganeshotsav and Durga Pooja idol immersions, with a strong focus on public safety, environmental protection, and smooth execution. Similarly such meetings have been convened in all the districts of Delhi.
All necessary arrangements, including water provision by the Delhi Jal Board and cleanliness by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), have been put in place. Mobile toilets will also be available, courtesy of Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board.
