Youth dies in road accident at Gandhi Nagar area

An 18-year-old youth died while two escaped with serious injuries after their bike collided with a divider at Dronachal trisection on Tuesday evening, Gandhi Nagar police started investigation.

All three were admitted to a private hospital for treatment where one of them died during treatment.  Gandhi Nagar police station in-charge said that this turn is very dangerous, there are some flaws in design of trisection, even before this accidents have occurred many times vehicles and trucks have also overturned here. Regarding this several letters have been written to the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).

The deceased was identified as Akash Ahirwar (18). He was a resident of Karond while Raja Ahirwar (15) and Omprakash Ahirwar (22) escaped the accident.

Meanwhile, thieves burgled three houses in the same colony in a single night in Chouksey Nagar, Eintkhedi and escaped with goods and cash, total loss in the burglary was around Rs 10 lakh.

The thieves targeted the houses when they were locked and the family members were out of town. The burglaries took place at the houses of Rahul Choukse, Ritesh Shukla and H Meena living in the colony. All these burglaries took place in the night on June 3.

Police said that the residents of the colony told that they were captured in CCTV while committing the crime. In this, two thieves are seen breaking the lock of the door and going inside. However, both have their faces covered.

Another crime was reported in Kolar area in which a 10-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a 65-year-old man, victim had gone to have water at the house of the accused. According to the Kolar  police, the 10-year-old girl lives with her mother and step-father. She works as a rag picker in the surrounding areas to help her parents.

As usual, on Monday morning at six o'clock she went out with her grandmother to collect junk. When the junk got accumulated with the grandmother, she asked the girl to take the junk home.

After this, the child was returning to her grandmother keeping the junk at home. Then he started feeling thirsty. For this reason, she reached the house of Ramswaroop Balmik (65), who lives in the neighborhood and asked for water. Then the accused took her inside the house by holding her hand and raped her after closing the door.
