Two Maoists arrested in Sukma

Two Maoists carrying a bounty of Rs 1 lakh each on their heads were on Friday in Sukma district in Chhattisgarh.

Muchaki Sukhram alias Hadma (28) and Madvi Kosa (30) were apprehended by the District Reserve Guard and District Force from the jungles near Kunna village, Sukma Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma told The Pioneer.

Hadma was a Local Organization Squad (LOS) member and Kosa was a Militia Commander in the Katekalyan Area Committee of the outlawed Maoist outfit, the officer said.

A tiffin bomb weighing 8 kg, 12 detonators, an electric multimeter, 60 kg ammonium nitrate, battery, electric wire, firecrackers, medicines and Naxalite literature were seized from them.
