The much-awaited direct flight service from Odisha’s Steel City Rourkela to West Bengal capital Kolkata is set to start from November 1, 2023.
The Alliance Air will operate the air service from the scheduled date on the Rourkela-Kolkata route. The air ticket booking has already been started by the aviation firm.
As per the schedule, the Alliance Air ATR-72 flight will depart from Kolkata at 1.50 pm and arrive at the Rourkela Airport at 4.40 pm. In the return direction, the flight will leave Rourkela at 5.05 pm and reach Kolkata at 8.05 pm.
While the airfare for the Rourkela-Kolkata flight has been fixed for Rs 4,433, the passengers can book the air tickets at a cost of Rs 4,530 for the Kolkata-Rourkela flight.
