The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing… For some it’s just a phrase but for Aditya, he justified it. His journey from being any normal boy to working with the legendary duo music composers Salim – Sulaiman is an inspiration to not only dream but achieving it.
Aditya Anand, a singer, composer and music producer based in Pune, born and brought up in Ranchi, belonged from a middle class family residing in Ratu Road. Like any normal kid even he had a routine of music classes on Sundays but growing up when he realized that he wanted to pursue music as a career, his mother not only supported him but also encouraged him to work more and more to achieve what he dreamt of.
Aditya started his musical journey from KM Conservatory, Chennai, India owned by the legendary Dr. A. R. Rahman in the year 2014. From there he started to work and release Bollywood cover songs and produce them on his own, which were already coming out as a professional. In the year 2021, Aditya released his first original AAWARA coming up with SAAJNA in 2022, which were a huge success on the platforms like Spotify, YouTube, etc.
Soon after, in 2022 he realized that he needed to do more in the field of music to justify his talent, and thus started pitching his non released original songs to the best of music labels. After a few months of getting no response to suddenly getting a mail from Merchant Records which is owned by the legendary duo music composers Salim Merchant & Sulaiman Merchant mentioning that they really like the song and want to connect via call. That was an unbelievable moment for Aditya as Salim – Sulaiman has always been an inspiration to him not only as a composer - producer but also as a human.
Because of the busy schedule of the team, it took almost 6 - 7 months overall for Aditya to finally complete the project including the video shoot of the original “RUTHO NA” which will be releasing soon under Merchant Records. Priyani Vani Panditt, a famous Reality show and Bollywood singer is the female vocalist along with Aditya and is also sharing the screen with him on the video. Everything was done under the continuous help from Salim Merchant who was there constantly to fix any of the doubts Aditya had during the process.
Looking forward, Aditya is set to release five more of his originals by the end of this year and has worked with renowned musicians of the industry as well.
