Police hold flag march to conduct peaceful Ram Navami

A flag march was held in the State Capital regarding Ram Navami on Tuesday. Under the leadership of Ranchi SSP, Kishor Kaushal, police personnel conducted a flag march on the main road. Apart from SSP, Ranchi DC, Rahul Kumar Sinha

Ranchi City SP, Shubhanshu Jain, Ranchi Rural SP, Noushad Alam and many other station In-Charges and police personnel were present in the flag march on the main road. Adequate security arrangements have been made by the police regarding the Ram Navami festival. Police are taking special care that no one should face any problem during the festival in Ranchi. Three thousand police forces have been deployed for security.

Kishor has appealed to the people to celebrate Ram Navami festival peacefully and also he said that Ranchi police is keeping an eye on anti-social elements. “Strict action will be taken against those who spread rumors about the festival or those who do provocative work. A strict vigil is being kept on the mischievous elements to ensure that there is no dispute on Ram Navami. At the same time, CCTV cameras and drone cameras will be monitored during the Ram Navami procession. Giving a strict warning to those spreading rumors on social media, the SSP said that strict action will be taken if any kind of rumor is spread and caught,” he added.

Adequate security arrangements have been made during Ram Navami in Jharkhand. Seven companies of central forces have been deployed in sensitive districts of the state. Apart from this, additional deployment of 14,920 police personnel has also been done. The Rapid Action Force (RAF) of CRPF has been deployed in Ranchi and Giridih and one company each of CRPF has been deployed in Jamshedpur, Giridih, Palamu, Lohardaga and Dumka districts. A CRPF women's battalion is stationed in Palamu. Apart from this, two companies of Rapid Action Police (RAP) of Jharkhand Police have been deployed in Ranchi. One company each of RAP has been deployed in Jamshedpur, Hazaribagh, Chatra and Koderma.

A total of 25 DSP, 28 Inspector, 320 Inspector, 160 Armed Forces, 8305 Lathi Force, 4950 Home Guard, One Company ATS, Swan Squad 01, Tear Gas Squad 05, Fire Squad 05, BDS Squad 03, 150 jawans under the control of Police Headquarters during Ram Navami And 950 jawans have been deployed under the control of DIGs of different ranges.

In Hazaribagh, apart from 14 additional DSPs, 20 inspectors, 250 constables, 50 special branch constables have been appointed. One Company Rapid Action Force, One Company Rapid Action Police, One Dog Squad, One Company ATS, One Bomb Disposal Squad, One Tear Gas Squad, Five Fire Squads, 160 Armed Forces, 2500 Lathi Force and 500 Home Guards were also deployed in Hazaribagh.
