Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, a flagship Mission of Government of India being implemented by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), was launched on 25th June 2015. Notably In continuation to this Government’s efforts towards empowerment of women from EWS and LIG unlike earlier schemes, PMAY (U) has made a mandatory provision for the female head of the family to be the owner or co-owner of the house under this Mission. This Scheme will provide ease of living to urban migrants/ poor in Industrial Sector as well as in non-formal urban economy to get access to dignified affordable housing close to their workplace. In the same episode Housing allotment in Chas Municipal Corporation Houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban Phase 3 was done by handing over the documents of the houses to the 85 waiting beneficiaries who were finally also given allotment letters for the Prestigious Kalapathar residential project.

It is noteworthy that Presently 480 houses are being constructed in Moja Kalapathra. The total cost of the house is 5 lakh 61 thousand, in which the central and state government share is 2 lakh 50 thousand and the rest beneficiary's contribution is 3 lakh 11 thousand which too is payable in four instalments 5000/, 20000/, 71500. Today, the allotment programme was organized in Chas Municipal Corporation auditorium in which a recent allotment programme was attended by 38 beneficiaries, remaining beneficiaries who could not reach due to any reason will be given the next date . During the allotment programme Additional Municipal Commissioner Anil Kumar whose focus is always on Chas Municipal all round developments with his team including Executive Officer Chavi Bala, Santosh Kumar City Manager, Kumar Rahul CBTC, Kapishwar Singh, Rashmi, Varun Kumar , Narayan Kisku from Juidoco etc were present in said programme.
