NTPC Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Project has been making significant contributions in community development work for the last many years.Under the community development works, all the basic structures around the project like construction of roads, provision of drinking water, help as per the demand of villagers during festivals and festivals are playing an important role in promoting skill development which is considered most important.The result of this is that for the last several years, hundreds of children have been taking training at the Mining and Industrial Training Center located at Dhenga and are getting jobs in many big companies of the country.Now in view of these contributions, Pakri Barwadih has been honored in the eighth APEX India Safety Award 2023 organized by APEX Foundation.This award has been given by Pakri Barwadih for the excellent work done in the field of skill development by MAITI Training Center.
